Women forcing themselves into all male clubs, colleges, etc are a perfect example, as is lgbtq forcing themselves into conservative/ straight groups, etc. Getting partial funding via public money / grants is not a excuse to force unwanted people on my group, instead, those unwanted people should apply for that same public money to create their own groups of like minded members. Keep females / gays out of our boy scout group, keep males out of ur Girl Scout group, keep Christian’s out of our Muslim group, atheists out of our Christian group, keep straights out of our gay club, keep left handed people out of our right hand lover group, single parents not allowed in out two parent traditional group, etc. In short, if Iv got a club of all white / black / male / female / spaghetti lovers, straights, gays, etc, we should be allowed to exclude anyone we wish from our group if we deem them undesirable.
Peoples right to associate, or REFUSE association with those they want to avoid is the basis of free speech. The Supreme Court type rulings forcing private groups to admit “ everyone “ were some of the most unconstitutional rulings ever.
